When Is Enough Enough?

There has been a lot going on in the media today. A lot of African Americans are in an uproar because there has been too many killings caused by Caucasian police officers in the past few years and nothing has been done about it. Micheal Brown was shot and killed less than a year ago, an unarmed teen, started the "Hands up, Don't Shoot" movement. Right before Brown's death Eric Garner was choked to death by a police officer, no justice was served, this occurrence started the "I can't breath" movement". Most recently a 50 year old unarmed black man was shot 8 times by a police officer for running, and it all started with a traffic violation. One should wonder how and the hell can a simple traffic violation turn into someone losing their life. Of course unconsciously the first thing we as a people like to scream racism, although racism is still a very concerning issue in the world today I think that there are other factors that constitute to these white men taking black men lives. Aside from racism I would like to point out as a people we have a stereotype that's hard for people to look past. We have high crime rates in our communities, high incarceration rates and most of the crimes we commit are against each other. So is it really anyone else fault that we have these stereotypes that are used again us everyday. I believe that it is no one fault but ours we need to come together as a people and change how we treat each other before we can change how others view us as a human race. But aside from coming together as a race, those stereotypes should not determine if a man live or die. Something needs to be done about these police officers killing our people, black lives do matter in fact every life matters. There is clearly something faulty going on during the training of these police officers and something has to change. Maybe the community show these men how they should handle certain situations. Teach them when they should and shouldn't use their guns because it is very evident that they are way to ignorant to know. They need the proper training when dealing with diversity, because it is not fair to put one race on a petal stool but when it comes to another they are trained to treat us like dogs. Train these men make sure they are mentally stable to be police officers, make sure they are not racist pricks and help save lives. We are human and we deserve as much justice as other races. These men need to be trained to help us not kill us. #Blacklivesmatter #Diversitymatters #Helpusnotkillus
